“Rocket-Like” Turbo Golf Racing is coming to a green near you

If you’re the kind of individual that spends every weekend ramming your balls down a tiny hole, you might be in for a treat later this year. Turbo Golf Racing – a Rocket League-like racer that tasks you with sinking a big-ass ball down a hole using a flashy cart – is coming to Xbox and PC.

Golf, it’s the favorite pastime activity of the elite and former pro-basketballer. Not the car, the sport. Duh. Cruising down hilly greens, whackin’ a ball along with a piece of iron until it falls down a gopher hole. It’s rad, y’all. But wouldn’t it be cooler if you wouldn’t even have to exit your cart in the first place? You know, cut out the middle man, or the golf club in this case. Yeah… that would be sweet. I mean, look at it.

See? Hugecalf Studios might be onto something here. Why didn’t anyone else think of this? Well, technically speaking, Psyonix did think of this… sorta. I mean, this is basically Rocket League in a golf setting instead of soccer. And that was considered wildly popular.

But hey, who am I to judge? Who says this won’t become wildly popular, too? Precisely. We’ll just wait and see. Sometime this spring some of us can already tee up in a beta, for which you can sign up right now. If you’re part of the Xbox Insider Program, you’ve also secured a spot in the beta.

If you’re also a member of the very sustainable Game Pass community, you won’t even have to go out and but Turbo Golf Racing when it hits the green. You’ll be able to download it Day One on either Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, or PC.
