Resident Evil 2, 3, and 7 are being dolled up new-gen consoles

Resident Evil 7 and the remakes of Resident Evil 2 and 3 will be getting some new-gen TLC. All three zombie shooters are receiving visual improvements in the form of ray tracing and higher frame rates. Cuz that’s what those zombies are actually craving, ya know? Fraaaaaames.

But wait. It gets even better for those who already own the games on last-gen consoles. You’ll be getting the upgrade for zero dollars. That’s like… 1,000,000 Russian rubles at this point. And if you’re the proud owners of these puppies on PC, you won’t be left out. You’ll be getting a nice upgrade as well.

As for when we’ll be getting those updates, there’s no telling yet. All I know is that it’s coming this year. But that’s about it, unfortunately. Until then, you’ll have to make do with old-gen undead, I’m afraid.

But hey, at least it’ll keep you busy until the remake of Resident Evil 4 drops. You know, the game that revolutionized the franchise by making a fucking kung-fu master out of Leon and by copy-pasting copyrighted material? Yeah, those were the days.

Then again, if you really, really crave some new-gen Resident Evil stat, you could give Village a go. It definitely ain’t shabby and you get a nice welcome from a big-titty goth girl named Lady Dimitrescu. I’m telling you, she’s to die for. And you probably will.
