ETA for the Dead Space remake has been specified

Houston, we have no problem. In fact, we have the opposite of a problem. EA has finally found the space to specify an estimated time of launch for the Dead Space remake. The bad news is that it definitely won’t be 2022, which shouldn’t be a surprise. An ‘early 2023’ has been orbiting the official website for a while now. The good news: it isn’t lightyears away either. Because that ‘early 2023’ really is an early 2023.

So, how early are we talking about exactly? January 27. Yup. That’s right. We’ll be soiling our space suits before some of us are sober from New Year’s Eve festivities. In other words, if “trying to maintain a steady bowl movement” will be one of your New Year’s resolutions, you’re golden.

Now, your memory might be a little hazy when it comes to Dead Space, especially if you’re the kind of person that’s still sobering up 27 days after New Year’s Eve. You might need a little reminder of things to come. In that case, feel free to check out a recent Developer Livestream, presented by developer EA Motive. Just make sure the kids are gone. You wouldn’t want to clean up their poopies, now would ya?

So there you have it. Get a big felt pen and draw a big-ass circle around January 27, unless you’re still rocking a PS4 or Xbox One. I’m afraid there’s no more space for these consoles on the remade USG Ishimura.
