You can play Watch Dogs: Legion for free without hacking it

Psst… ‘ello gov’ner… wanna play Watch Dogs: Legion without spending a single penny? Legally, that is. If the answer is yes, you’re one hell of a lucky individual. Ubisoft’s open-world hackfest is free to play this weekend, giving everyone a taste of the chaos that is London. And you won’t even have to bypass all kinds of anti-piracy protocols. #nohax.

Keep in mind, it’s only for the weekend, so it’s in and out. Then again, three days is plenty of time for most of you to figure out if you feel like extending your stay. If so, you’ll be glad to hear that the game is on sale on most platforms, with discounts that can go up to 60%.

Unfortunately, the free trial doesn’t seem to hit all platforms. Xbox gamers are getting the short end of the stick. If you’re planning on venturing into London on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, or Google Stadia, you can already preload the game.

After you’re all set and done, you’ll be able to play Watch Dogs: Legion starting tomorrow. Like I said before, your visit is basically limited to a weekend, with the trial ending on Sunday. On the plus side, the entire map of Watch Dogs: Legion will be available to roam, so no invisible walls and “this area is not available” messages. Wicked!
