Uncharted 4 is very likely to put itself on the map on PC

It looks like Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is the next PlayStation game making it to the PC. After a very successful port of Horizon: Zero Dawn and the previous overhaul of Days Gone, Naughty Dog’s epic finale regarding treasure hunter Nathan Drake seems to be next in line. How do I know? Because Sony kinda gave it away in a lengthy presentation.

The presentation is part of Sony’s Investor Relations Day, in which the company explains the current state of affairs. In one of the sheets – number 26 to be exact – the presentation talks about recent PC ports and ports to come. Even though the info seems a little outdated, one game grabs some attention. Under the section “PC releases planned”, Uncharted 4 is mentioned. Well, whaddya know…

To be really honest, this doesn’t surprise me one bit. Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End has been popular from the get-go. It’s a pretty logical move to expand its already huge player base of 37 million a little by bringing it to the personal computer. I sure wouldn’t mind hanging out with Nathan and Sully in an uncapped framerate, for one. And I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one not having issues with that.

Now that the cat’s out of the proverbial bag, it’s only a matter of time before Sony announces it officially. Maybe they’ll run it past us in one of their State of Play events. Or maybe it’ll get mentioned during the digital version of gamescom, which is scheduled for late August. Whatever the occasion will be, it will unfortunately no longer be a surprise.
