Street Fighter 6’s logo has an eerie Adobe Stock template vibe

As you may or may not have heard, Capcom isn’t exactly the most creative company when it comes to visual assets. In the case of Resident Evil 4 and Devil May Cry, it even went as far as to copy/pasting copyrighted imagery. With a lawsuit regarding that matter freshly settled, Capcom isn’t falling for that shit no more. That’s why – for Street Fighter 6′s logo – Capcom resorted to Adobe Stock Images for inspiration. It’s either that or the strangest case of coincidence ever.

Straight off the bat, Street Fighter fans were already on the fence when it came down to the logo. Instead of using the usual font and visual style, a hexagon with the letters SF in it took its place. Weird, right? But it gets even weirder. Adobe Stock Images weird. Because yes, Adobe Stock Images offers an almost exact template for $79.99. Don’t believe me? Check this out. I’m not the only one seeing it. Twitter is already buzzing.

See? I’m not saying that Capcom did the old copy/paste again, but it sure looks like it. If so, we can at least give them kudos for not “borrowing” them this time. Still, it’s pretty embarrassing. Making use of a template is for noobs, Capcom. Noobs like me.

Anywho, when it comes to the reveal trailer itself, people seem to be more thrilled. Throw in a sandal-wearing, aged Ryu and most of the fans will (debatably) call it the best thing since Street Fighter 5. And that Luke dude – poppin’ veins like he’s Machoman Randy Savage – needs to get his blonde ass kicked.

As for the logo, maybe Capcom will tell us this summer what’s what. We’ll see, I guess.
