Saints Row is getting in line, receiving a reboot in 2022

If you’re a big fan of massive open worlds, filled to the brim with stuff to shoot or blow up while having a giggle or two, you’re familiar with Saints Row. The series has been going strong (I guess) for quite some time now and even took us to hell in the process. But the origin story of the Saints might be a little foggy after all these years. Well, that’s where Deep Silver and Volition step in because a reboot of Saints Row is coming. Mhmmm… that’s right, y’all.

But who am I to judge the Saints’ questionable reputation? Maybe you’re one of the many gung-ho pistoleros who’s absolutely ecstatic about the franchise. If that’s the case, get ready for a very juicy announcement trailer for this Saints Row reboot. It’s all CGI and there’s no gameplay whatsoever, but it’ll surely tickle your pickle, if you know what I mean.

So there you have it. People get shot up, things go kaboom, and funny one-liners are being uttered by absurd characters. What more could you want? Wait… what’s that? A release date? Well, why didn’t you say that in the first place, amigo? Get a pen, a pencil, a felt pen, or whatever you use to scribble things down with and write this down:

Got that? Cool. I guess we’ll talk soon to discuss actual in-game footage. Santo Ileso might look mighty sweet in CGI, but I’m actually curious to see how it’ll translate to the digital playground.
