Online free-to-play games are now even free-er on Xbox

On Xbox, online free-to-play games were never really free to play. Sure, you could download it and have it eat away a chunk of your disk space. To be able to actually play it, you’d have to subscribe to Xbox Live Gold, which isn’t free. Henceforth, free-to-play on Xbox was pretty contradictory. Microsoft has seen the error in their ways and fixed that for you. Online free-to-play games no longer require Xbox Live Gold, making them truly free to play.

Team Xbox has been experimenting with this feature for a couple of weeks now, giving Xbox Insiders a go at it. But now, everyone who owns an Xbox can enjoy the option of playing free online games without shelling Benjamins for Xbox Live Gold. In total, over 50 games are now available for the amount of zero coins. I’ll list them below to see if any of them tickle your pickle.
