Dying Light 2 delayed… again

If you’re waiting for Dying Light 2, there’s a big chance that you’re close to being braindead by now. Well, if that’s the case, you’d better call in some life support, because it has been delayed once more. Indeed, the game that is centralized around climbing over walls to survive, seems to be hitting a lot of proverbial walls. How ironic.

It’s very unfortunate, but there’s really nothing Techland can do about it. There’s just too much polishing that needs to be done, which is a funny play on words since Techland is a Polish studio… Never mind. Anywho, Techland isn’t too happy about it either. But hey, better late and great than fast and FUBAR. Isn’t that right, CD Projekt RED?

If everything goes smoothly, Dying Light 2 should be coming to us on February 4, 2022. Just don’t pin me down on it. I mean, we’re talking about a game that should have been launched in the spring of 2020.

Then again, Techland isn’t the only studio dealing with delays. Just recently, Guerrilla Games had to postpone the launch of Horizon Forbidden West, which will also launch in February. And speaking of CD Projekt, they also became more cautious with announcing release dates. I wonder why…
