The Lord of the Rings: Gollum now has a precious release date

The Lord of the Rings: Gollum – Daedalic’s game about… well… Gollum – has finally received a release date. If you were eagerly looking forward to it, I’d suggest you grab a marker and write ‘the precious’ where it says September 1, 2022. Maybe even circle it with a goldish yellow marker for the full One Ring effect.

If this is the first time that you’ve heard about The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, let me get you up to speed. According to Daedalic’s Steam description, Gollum is a story-driven action-adventure starring the tormented Sméagol. “Remain true to the vision laid out in J.R.R Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings”, the game will make the player embark on a perilous search for the One Ring.

As the trailer down below tries to make clear, choices define the nature of LOTR’s favorite split persona ugly fuckling. Do good and good things will happen to you. Go off the straight and narrow and your darker alter ego will take the upper hand. The only thing that you’re not in control over is the general appearance of His Royal Fugliness. For some reason, Daedalic has made it a priority to make Gollem look worse than in the movies. Even Ugly Sonic looks cute compared to this uggo.

Anywho, September 1, 2022. Write it down if you’re still interested. The Lord of the Rings: Gollum will sneak to your PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, or Xbox Series X|S. How precious…
