Halo Infinite release is infinite no more, multiplayer free-to-play

Remember Halo Infinite, the Halo game that should’ve launched alongside the Xbox Series X? It’s okay if you don’t. But some of us do, especially the people who’ve been waiting endlessly. That much-anticipated release date never seemed to get any closer. It was infinite, you might say. But no more. During Microsoft’s E3 showcase, hopeful words were finally spoken. Not a date, but a release window. And that release window is ‘holiday 2021’.

But that was not the only good news that Microsoft had to serve. Accompanied by a beefy trailer, the words free-to-play multiplayer were uttered. If that doesn’t tickle your Halo pickle, I don’t know what will. Because I consider myself to be a good sport, I’ll share the official multiplayer reveal with you.

So, does this satisfy your needs for now? Are you getting stoked yet? Does it make you wanna buy an Xbox Series X (as if there are any to buy…)? Even though I’m not the biggest Halo fan, I must say that I’d even consider scouring the internet for Microsoft’s console after seeing this. Then again, availability might just go up by the time Halo Infinite hits the stores.

By the way, did you know that Master Chief and the Doom Slayer are actually kinda cute together? After the acquisition of Bethesda, the two became best bros and a great example for all those skull-bashing, nut-kicking stepchildren all over the world. Frankly, it’s really endearing. Have a look here, and all will be clear.
