Completing Dying Light 2 can take you up to 3 years…

The word goes that hundred percenting Dying Light 2 – Techland’s highly-anticipated zombie parkour game – could possibly take you three years to achieve. That is if you live in China. Other people might go through the promised 500 hours in a shorter time span. Had you hecking bamboozled for a minute, didn’t I?

Yes, 500 hours, that’s what Techland is claiming. The Polish developer has recently provided us, plebs, with statistics, in which it claims that Dying Light 2 contains enough content to keep you busy for 500 hours. Five… hundred… hours. That comes down to… *doing quick mafs*… one hour per delay, give or take.

This doesn’t necessarily mean that it’ll take you 500 hours to complete the game. Maybe you’re not the completionist type. If you’re going to rush your way through the game, you won’t even come close to that figure. Reserving 100 hours is going to be plenty, according to Techland. But if you are the kind of gamer that scours every digital inch of a game, it could. To give you a rough idea of what you can do in 500 hours, Techland claims you can walk from Warsaw to Madrid in roughly the same time. My only question is: who checked? And is he/she a slow, average, or fast walker?

Then again, who the hell cares? All we know is that Dying Light 2 is gonna be huge, which makes up for the endless delays we’ve been hit with. If you have no effing clue what Dying Light 2 is, let Cas bring you up to speed. He spent nearly 500 hours figuring out what Techland has been doing to it for the last decade…
