Don’t download a cracked version of Skate 4, or else…

Look, I get it. EA gets it. You really, really want to get your hands on Skate 4. Totally understandable. We’ve been whining and nagging EA for years and now it’s sort of here. Free for the taking. But EA is emploring you not to go out there and take it. And with ‘it’, I mean the cracked version of the Skate 4 playtest. Because not only is it old material, it’s also illegal as fuck. And trust me, EA doesn’t like illegal activities.

Because honestly, do you even know what you’re getting into when you download that illegal, cracked version of Skate 4? Has your dense mind ever thought of the repercussions? Viruses, trojans, a metric fuckton of spyware. Before you know it, all your personal data and secretly taken dick pics are out there. Is that the price you’re willing to pay? Plus – and this is not entirely unimportant – you’re also breaking EA’s Terms & Conditions. Not that you’d know because you’ve probably never read them. Still, if EA finds out you’re playing Skate 4 illegally, you’re risking a ban on all EA platforms.

Downloading’s bad, m’kay

“We’re aware of an earlier version of the game that has been distributed without our authorization. This build is from September 2021 and was never intended for external use. While we understand you’re excited to get into the game, we encourage you to be careful when downloading files from unknown sources (and remind you of the potential consequences of breaking EA’s Terms of Service). The best way to get the chance to play is by signing up for skate. insider playtesting here as we continue to invite more and more players into the game throughout the year.”

So, play it smart. Just wait. And if you’re so desperate and really can’t wait until it releases, sign up for 100% legal playtests organized by EA. There will be a few of those in the days to come.
