Apex Legends now available on Nintendo Switch

Great news for anyone who’s looking for a game of Apex Legends on the go. Respawn’s free-to-play battle-royale shooter has finally made its way to Nintendo’s handheld hybrid console, just in time for all Switchers to join the Chaos Theory event and get the Charged Conquista… Choas Conductor skin for Wattson

People who’ve just dropped in have the advantage of receiving two years worth of content. To sweeten the deal even more, Respawn is gifting Switch players 30 free levels for their Season 8 Battle Pass. Playing the Switch version will also grant you two weeks of double XP. Feeling generous, Respawn?

I guess you are because there’s even more to give away, according to the dev team. A new Legendary Pathfinder skin called P.A.T.H. (how very original…) is also ready to be claimed for all Switch users. This offer will stand until the end of Season 8, which ends May 4th.

Anyway, are you curious as to how it looks, feels, and plays on the Nintendo Switch. Watch the trailer below and get a glimpse of the action.

Are you entertained? You probably are, and for that, we have Panic Button to thank. The studio isn’t just another small dev that occasionally ports a game but has actually accomplished quite a bit in the past. Games like DOOM Eternal, Rocket League, and Forza Horizon 4 have all been developed with the input of the Texas-based development team.

So what are you waiting for? Go to the Nintendo eShop and reel that game in. I mean, it’s free (to a certain point), and who passes up on free shit? Well, mostly people who aren’t subscribed to Nintendo Online. The paid online service is required to play Apex Legends, so I guess it’s not 100% free to play this game on Switch.
